قد يرى المتأمّل فيما ورد مِن الحثّ على زيارة سيد الشهداء عليه السلام في كل المناسبات أنه أمرٌ عجيب غريب، فترى أنّه يستحب للمؤمن زيارته حضورًا في محرّم وصفر، ورجب وشعبان وشهر رمضان، وعرفة والعيدين، وليالي الجمعة، فضلًا عن استحباب زيارته في كل وقت، بل والتأكيد على زيارته مِن بعد لمن لا يستطيع الوفود إلى قبره الشريف..
